How to clean out your cocktail glass:
1. Remove Wax (2 options)
Option 1 - Light the candle and let it burn for a short while, allowing the wax to melt. Blow out the candle and let it cool for a few minutes to create a pool of melted wax. Carefully pour out the molten wax into a disposable container. Be cautious not to spill any on yourself or surfaces. Use a butter knife or a similar blunt tool to gently scrape off any remaining wax residue from the inside of the glass. Be cautious not to scratch the glass.
Option 2 Place the candle glass in the freezer for a few hours. The cold will cause the wax to contract and become easy to remove. Once the wax is frozen, use a butter knife or a similar blunt tool to gently pry the wax out of the glass. Be careful not to scratch or damage the glass.
2. Wash with Hot Soapy Water: After most of the wax is removed, wash the glass with hot, soapy water. This will help to remove any remaining wax residue and any soot or dirt.
3. Scrub with a Soft Brush: For any stubborn wax residue or soot stains, you can use a soft-bristle brush or an old toothbrush to gently scrub the inside of the glass. Avoid using abrasive materials that might scratch the glass.
4. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the glass thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
5. Dry Completely: Allow the glass to air dry completely before using it again or storing it.
Optional: If there are still some wax residues or stains after this process, you can try using a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water to soak the glass for a while before scrubbing it again. Be sure to rinse and dry thoroughly afterward.
Remember to exercise caution when handling glass and hot wax to avoid injury.
WARNING: To prevent fire, place on a temperature safe surface. Burn for 3-4 hours at a time. Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4" before each lighting. Do not allow wick trimmings or other materials to accumulate in the candle. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn a candle near anything that can catch fire. Never leave a candle unattended. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury or property damage; neither the seller nor the manufacturer is responsible for misuse.
